Emmanuel Community House Outreach (ECHO) was founded in 2007 by Bishop Eric F. Mitchell, Pastor of Greater Emmanuel Christ of Christ, who currently serves as the CEO. The vision for ECHO was borne out of Pastor Mitchell’s deep commitment to serving the community and his belief in holistic ministry. His guiding philosophy can be summed up in his own words: “Helping to care for the community is our moral and spiritual obligation. It takes more than faith and love to change circumstances.”
ECHO is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of economically disadvantaged individuals and families. Through job training, counseling, and a food pantry, ECHO provides practical alternatives and viable solutions to help those in need. Our mission is to offer support and guidance to those who have faced hardship due to economic challenges or poor choices. With community support, we strive to be a beacon of hope and empowerment, working together to transform lives.
At ECHO, our passion is to transform the lives of young people from the moment they enter this world until they step into adulthood. We believe that whole, healthy children are the foundation of strong families and thriving communities. That’s why we are committed to providing comprehensive services that nurture and empower children from birth to 18 years old.
